Prototype--Overview
Snail Trails is a arcade style party kart racing game featuring snails!! The goal is the be the last player across the finish line, sabotage your opponents using various means to increase their speed and become the slowest snail in the race!
Developed over 6 weeks as part a team of 4 the prototype type hopes to achieve a playable status, implementing local coop, powerups, slime and more!
Week 1-2: Development of models, gameobjects, levels, and implementation of basic mechanics for gameplay
Week 2-3: Implementation of the splitscreen (and AI opponents if time allows.)
Week 3-4: Balancing and implementation of any other mechanics.
Week 5: Internal technical testing and User Testing.
Week 6: Overall polishing, bug squashing and fine tuning.
