Prototype--Week2--Building Tracks

I attempted to build a track for our game, first I copied one of our existing tracks into a new scene, I then deleted most of it and tried to make a track. I didn't know how to join the track pieces together well, this meant when I was finished I had a lot of gaps in the track. There was even a tree in the middle of the road. Our game doesn't have a fix if the player falls over the track (Which if the pieces are all connected properly should not happen) due to this my track needed some edits to play well. One of my team members fixed my track for me. I am now tweaking it a bit to see if I can make it better.

The first prototype of BLUE track, it was a bit confusing in parts for us to follow going around it, and was simplified into a far better experience. This was where we first realized to many junctions could lead player astray and result in them not knowing the correct path to finish a lap. To help solve the problem of playing going down the wrong paths we added signage into the lastest versions of out tracks.

A GO  >>> that way, and a XXX NO GO barrier to help the player find the right direction.

Our early version of RED track--

Our current RED track is only slightly changed and refined from our first prototype and setup, it also has the barriers to help guide the player to the correct direction.
